Purpose of the Student Groups Projects Board

The Projects Board, as a standing committee of the USG, is empowered with two principal functions. First, the Board is to serve as one of the primary funders for all campus events and activities initiated by student groups having "541 accounts" recognized by the Office of the Dean of Undergraduate Students (ODUS) and the USG. Second, the Board, as an expert body with regard to the planning and administration of campus events, is to act in an advisory role to organizations, facilitating relevant information to event organizers. The Projects Board is here to help you!

The USG Projects Board is the branch of the USG that provides grants for student group programming. At Projects Board meetings, the following sources of funding are available:

USG Projects Board (over $114,000 annually)

• Venture Fund ($24,000 annually)
• Woodrow Wilson School Fund ($10,000 annually)
• USG Publications Fund ($10,000 annually)
• USG Projects Board Fund ($70,000 annually)
• Office of the Dean of Undergraduate Students (discretionary)

Note: The Projects Board no longer allocates the PACE Center funds.  Please contact the PACE Center (pace@princeton.edu) in order to apply for funding for civic service and engagement projects.
