Welcome to the SGRC Application!

Thank you for your interest in starting your own student group.

This application is intended for student group recognition through ODUS. For Pace Center groups, please apply directly to the Pace Council for Civic Values.

In order to submit a completed application for your prospective student group, you must complete the following steps:

1. SGRC Application
2. Petition (pdf form)
3. Student Group Constitution (sample doc)
4. Sample SGRC Meeting Questions (pdf)

  1. Prepare the Petition and Student Group Constitution.
  2. Access the SGRC Application to submit your application.
  3. Register with the SGRC calendar on wass.princeton.edu for an appointment -- see below.
  4. Review the document Sample SGRC Meeting Questions to help you prepare for your meeting. These questions should give you a good idea of what to expect the Committee to ask you at your meeting with us.

The following chart outlines the due dates and meeting times of the SGRC in 2011.

Due to the volume of applications received as well as the time required for the review process, late applications cannot be considered until the next application cycle.

After successfully completing the application, please make an appointment through the WASS system:

  1. Go to the Princeton Web Appointment Scheduling System.
  2. Sign in with your netID (make sure not to use a guest login).
  3. Search for SGRC under Calendar Owner's Name.
  4. Choose Make Appointment for the Student Group Recognition Committee result that shows up.

Thank you for applying to the SGRC. We will be in contact with you soon!
