General Election Information

There are three USG election cycles each academic year: fall, winter, and spring. The Elections Team will send an email to the student body on the first day of each election cycle with the specific details for that cycle.

FALL ELECTIONS

The fall election cycle generally begins in early September. Members of the first-year class council, part of Class Government, are elected in this cycle.

Winter Elections

The winter election cycle generally begins after the conclusion of fall break. This cycle features both referenda and elections for Senate executive officers and class senators.

Spring Elections

The spring election cycle generally begins after the conclusion of spring break. This cycle features referenda, elections for U-Councilors, and elections for Class Government officers.
